To evaluate, in a randomized, controlled clinical trial, the efficacy of the Acumen Hypotension Prediction Index software, in reducing intraoperative hypotension episodes (mean arterial blood pressure < 65 mmHg, in quantitative and qualitative terms) in high-risk patients undergoing major non-cardiac surgery, compared with standard advanced hemodynamic monitoring (FloTrac) currently in use in our clinical practice.In order to assess the clinical relevance of any differences shown between the two study groups, the postoperative incidence of acute myocardial injuryand acute kidney injury (as defined by KDIGO) and 30 day mortality will also be investigated.
